وقتی دو برج رو با یک قطعهی معلق به هم وصل میکنی،
داستان فقط یک حرکت معماری نیست؛
یک تصمیم مهندسیه که باید تا آخر ازش دفاع کنی.
اینجا نقطهایه که مهندسها
بار، لرزش، باد، پیچش و تنش رو
تا آخرین میلیمتر حساب میکنن
تا یک تودهی چندصدتنی
توی ارتفاع، مثل یک خطکش ثابت بایسته.
چیزی که برای چشم «تعجب» بهنظر میاد،
برای مهندسی یک «معادلهی حلشده» است.
این سازهها یادمون میدن
وقتی یک ایده درست فکر بشه
و پشتش تحلیل و دقت باشه،
غیرممکن هم میتونه تبدیل بشه
به یکی از تصویرهای ماندگار شهر.

In redesigning the façade of the Saar project, we were faced with a building where the majority of the façade construction had already been completed using a weak, linear, and repetitive structure. In the design process, on one hand, we confronted a flat and monotonous façade, and on the other hand, due to the completion of the interior construction work, it was not possible to demolish the outer masonry walls in order to reconfigure the layout of the boundary walls.
Our proposal was to attach an additive skin to the existing façade—one that would minimize interference with the current structure while providing a means to break away from the flatness of the existing elevation.During the design process, by examining the existing pattern of openings, terraces, and vertical proportions of the building, we arrived at a structure that—with a dual logic—aims to both generate a unified composition and maximize the use of the existing terraces. The design is a double-skin façade, composed of an integrated grid of movable vertical louvers, which is interrupted at two points by large incisions.

In the ZeeMan project, we were faced with a fully developed structure that was designed based on the maximum density of residential units, resulting in a completely solid mass.Given the internal economic constraints of the project, structural reduction of density was not feasible. Therefore, the proposed design involved splitting the building mass into two parts using a continuous horizontal void in the middle of the project. This strategy not only reduced the visual weight of the project but also connected to the shared interior spaces, effectively dividing the dense mass into two sections, each with distinct formal characteristics in terms of façade articulation.
The composition of the design aims to create formal unity while enhancing the visual and spatial interaction of the project with the urban context.

بازدیدمون تو اکسپو مربوط به سه کشور همسایه بودن؛ امارات، قطر و کویت.
هرکدومشون یه جور خاص، گذشته و آیندهشون رو به نمایش گذاشتن.
پاویون امارات با اسم Earth to Ether، مثل یه جنگل از ۹۰ ستون نخل ۱۶ متری ساخته شده بود. نخل برای امارات فقط یه درخت نیست، نماد فرهنگ و مهموننوازیه. داخل پاویون هم همهچی چندحسی طراحی شده بود؛ از روایت طبیعت و فرهنگ گرفته تا تکنولوژی و آینده پایدار. امارات اینجا نشون میداد که چطور میشه با حفظ ریشهها، جسورانه به سمت آینده پرواز کرد.
پاویون قطر رو کنگو کوما طراحی کرده بود. الهام گرفته از کشتیهای سنتی dhow، نماد دریانوردی و تجارت قطر. سازهی چوبی با هنر نجاری ژاپنی ساخته شده و سقف سفیدش مثل بادبان کشتی بود. داخلش هم داستان ساحل، تجارت و تبادل فرهنگی قطر با ژاپن روایت میشد. پیامی که داشت این بود: ریشههامون در دریاست، اما چشماندازمون به سمت آینده بازه.
پاویون کویت اسمش Visionary Lighthouse ـه، فانوس دریایی آینده. معماریش از ساحل و بیابون الهام گرفته و سقف بازش نماد مهموننوازی کویتیه. داخل پاویون، چهار سالن تعاملی، گالری و حیاط مرکزی طراحی شده بود که گذشته، حال و رؤیای آینده کویت رو کنار هم نشون میداد. انگار کویت میخواست بگه هر کشوری میتونه فانوس خودش برای آیندهی بشریت باشه.

معماری وقتی به سخن میاد، قصه میگه 🌊
پاویون پرتغال توی اکسپو ۲۰۲۵ اوساکا، با طراحی کِنگو کوما، دقیقا همچین حالوهوایی داره؛ یه دعوت برای اینکه دوباره رابطهمون با دریا رو یادمون بیاره.
از بیرون، طنابها و تورهای بازیافتی مثل موج شکل گرفتن. نور و باد که بهشون میخوره، انگار کل سازه نفس میکشه. ✨
داخل پاویون هم دو تا قصه اصلی روایت میشه:
۱️⃣ قصهی گذشته؛ تاریخ دریانوردی پرتغال، ارتباط قدیمیشون با ژاپن، علم و هنر دریا.
۲️⃣ قصهی آینده؛ جایی که پای پایداری، حفاظت از محیطزیست دریایی و نوآوری وسطه. 🌱
برای من این پاویون فقط یه معماری نیست؛ یه نشونهست از پیوند انسان با طبیعت و آیندهای که قراره خودمون بسازیم.
